About this position
Position SummaryThe purpose of this position is responsible for providing customer service by answering phone calls and providing solutions to drivers/customers who encounter roadside issues in a timely manner. This includes the tracking and entry of these issues into computer systems that are used to monitor tools of roadside assistance calls and action items.Roles & ResponsibilitiesAnswer roadside assistance calls in a timely manner, providing optimal customer service to our drivers/customersCreate repair orders and enter necessary information into systemCheck warranty status on repairs and make updates as neededMaintain and track all outside repairs and handles accordinglyWork to provide and review data in an effort to reduce breakdown events
Wednesday- Friday 6:00am- 6:00pm + every other weekend
Skills & Qualifications
Strong customer service skills (preferably on and off phone)Must have basic computer skills and experience using various computer programs Strong verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to stay calm and work in a fast-paced environmentBasic knowledge of tractor-trailer operations and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulationsEducation & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous Maintenance Technician experience as a diesel or automotive technicianPrefer previous Customer Service experienceWednesday- Friday 6:00am- 6:00pm + every other weekend
