Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced HR Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, reporting directly to the Owner/CEO. This role involves ensuring compliance with labor laws, managing employee relations, and supporting our company culture and values.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Staffing:

   - Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

   - Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.

   - Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.

2. Employee Relations:

   - Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.

   - Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.

   - Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention.

3. Performance Management:

   - Develop and implement performance management systems to evaluate employee performance.

   - Provide guidance to managers on performance reviews, goal setting, and employee development plans.

4. Policy Development and Compliance:

   - Create, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures in compliance with federal and state laws.

   - Ensure the company adheres to labor laws and regulations, including safety and health standards.

5. Benefits Administration:

   - Oversee employee benefits program, including health insurance, PTO, and 401k plans.

   - Manage the enrollment process and communicate benefits information to employees.

   - Facilitate the company’s 401k plan, ensuring compliance and overseeing matching contributions.

6. Training and Development:

   - Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

   - Coordinate and facilitate employee training sessions and workshops.

7. HR Metrics and Reporting:

   - Maintain HR metrics and provide regular reports to the Owner/CEO regarding workforce trends, turnover rates, and employee satisfaction.

   - Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback for continuous improvement.

Benefits:

- Competitive salary of $65,000 - $70,000.

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in a construction or HVAC-related industry.

- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.

- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
