Job Purpose

We are currently looking for Territory Sales Representatives to come and join our team.  The successful candidate will come from the construction industry, be a go-getter, uncovering new opportunities for the territory in which to sell while having the ability to develop and nurture business relationships with companies and individuals in their designated territory. The Sales representative’s goal is to maximize revenue for the branch and the company.

What you will do...

  • Increase sales and branch revenue
  • Establishing new rental and sales accounts through cold calling and personal visits to potential customer sites
  • Develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Evaluate customers’ needs and build productive long-lasting relationships
  • Meet personal and team sales targets
  • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
  • Attend meetings, sales events and training to keep abreast of the latest developments
  • Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
  • Skills

  • Previous outside sales experience within the construction industry
  • Proficient with computers
  • Exceptional organizations skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, sales or business administration.
  • Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience in the construction or equipment rental industry.
  • Must have valid class 5 driver’s license.
  • A recent driver’s abstract will be required.
