As an EMT Basic, you will play a crucial role in providing emergency medical care to patients in various situations, ensuring their safety and well-being during transport to medical facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to assess patients' conditions, administer basic life support, and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current EMT Basic certification from a recognized training program.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a pre-hospital emergency medical setting.
  • Additional certifications such as CPR, First Aid, or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Bilingual skills to communicate with a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency calls and provide immediate medical assistance to patients.
  • Perform patient assessments to determine the nature and extent of injuries or illnesses.
  • Administer basic life support techniques, including CPR and first aid.
  • Transport patients safely to medical facilities while monitoring their condition.
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate records of services provided.
