POSITION: Senior Supplier Quality EngineerLOCATION: Jupiter, FLSTATUS: Salary-exempt
JOB SUMMARY As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of supplier-provided materials and components by establishing, implementing, and maintaining effective supplier quality management processes. You will work closely with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams—including engineering, procurement, and manufacturing—to drive continuous improvement, and resolve quality issues. This role is critical to maintaining high quality standards, reducing risk, and improving overall supplier performance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Review and maintain relevant quality procedures and requirements within the Quality Management system.
- Continuously drive improvements in internal business processes using appropriate Quality concepts and tools to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of the processes.
- Review and maintain quality system documents to ensure documents are up to date and appropriate for the applicable processes.
- Develop and implement Quality improvements with suppliers and the PSM workshop to achieve high process and product conformance rates.
- Create inspection & test plans for engine hardware in PSM’S internal inspection database.
- Perform statistical analyses of inspection results for new manufacture, reconditioning and over-inspection processes and assist in using results to drive Quality improvements.
- Input and extract data to prepare and generate departmental Quality metrics.
- Review and approve Reconditioning Assessment and Final Acceptance customer reports.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis and process improvement activities using six-sigma, lean, 8D, Measurement System Analysis and other statistical tools as required.
- Assist in updating the calibration database as required, providing dispositions and corrective action on failing inspection equipment as needed.
- Review and approve Acceptance Data Packages (ADPs) for supplier provided material & services. Work in conjunction with purchasing and engineering to resolve issues as required.
- Ability to travel 35% of the time.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- Experience in disposition of non-conforming products.
- Effective strong communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.
