Education: High School Diploma or GED
Months/Years of Experience: Five (5) years of applicable experience supporting engineering or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization: or two (2) years of applicable college/vocational/military//technical school and three (3) years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area: Mechanical – At least four (4) year of the five (5) years' experience must include successful completion of one (1) year of vocational/military/technical school training in practical or industrial arts and a minimum of two (2) years of mechanical fabrication and structural/fixture setup supporting engineering or testing of military hardware.
Required Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen and have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance. Liquid-Propellant-Action-Response-Team (LPART) certified or the ability to obtain once hired. Have or obtain Class “A” CDL with hazmat endorsement.
Duties: Technician will support mechanical operations in and around Test Stand/fixtures. Operate and maintain equipment for test support. Comprehend various test setups and lead the mechanical responsibilities while following applicable standard operating procedures. Operate forklifts from Class VII and below, mobile and overhead crane, and other similar equipment.
Desired Qualifications: Welding experience a plus. Industrial Maintenance/Mechanical A.A.S, or Aerospace Technology A.A.S preferred.
