Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist supports production, material planning, and logistics operations within a defense manufacturing environment requiring strict configuration control, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance. This role ensures material readiness, ERP/MRP scheduling integrity, and supply chain efficiency in alignment with program delivery milestones and customer quality requirements. Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite (or equivalent platforms) is essential for managing production orders, material traceability, and supplier performance in a controlled environment. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Plan and coordinate material and production schedules using ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred). 
  • Oversee procurement planning, supplier coordination, and inbound materials logistics with focus on compliance and supplier quality requirements. 
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, including serialized and lot-tracked materials supporting production traceability and audit readiness. 
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Program Management to ensure correct BOM structures, revision control, and timely flow of materials to production. 
  • Monitor production progress, adjust schedules to meet delivery milestones, and report material status in program reviews. 
  • Implement and sustain logistics best practices that meet defense industry standards (AS9100, ISO 9001) and internal quality procedures. 
  • Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments and coordinate associated purchase orders. 


Required Qualifications:

  • Expertise with ERP/MRP platforms for manufacturing environments; NetSuite experience required (SAP, Epicor, or Oracle acceptable alternatives). 
  • Strong understanding of defense supply chain and regulatory frameworks (DFARS, ITAR, AS9100). 
  • Proven ability to interpret engineering documentation, BOMs, and configuration data. 
  • Analytical skills in inventory management, lead-time analysis, and capacity planning. 
  • High attention to detail and documentation discipline for traceability and compliance. 
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and in Excel and capable of generating analytical reports for management and compliance audits. 
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain State and Federal explosives licenses, including: 
    • Be 21 years of age or older. 
    • Pass pre-employment drug test. 
    • Pass State and Federal background checks.

The pay range for this role is:
60,000 - 75,000 USD per year(Pueblo, CO)
