Job Summary:

Work with assemblies, fabricate extrusions, build/assemble DC Slide packages, panels, and frames. Fabricating and assembling products with various tools and machinery. Work with raw materials to build custom packaging for our products. Inspecting aluminum for various quality flaws.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Check shelf levels daily
  • Work diligently to have materials prepped/ready to go
  • Build Assemblies as needed to meet customer demand
  • Use CNC and manual machines to fabricate extrusions
  • Build crates and packaging for door packages, hollow metal door, TDA & special projects
  • Transfer completed assemblies to the warehouse for stock
  • Transfer materials from warehouse for DC slide packages
  • Fabricate DC4000 & DC7000 headers for orders and prep
  • Assemble various thresholds, glass stop, gutters and weather guards for stock
  • Verify & shelve materials daily
  • Keep work area clean
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels with physical counts
  • Adjust inventory as needed with item journals and assembly BOMs
  • Make sure that all orders go same day when possible. Customer service is our priority
  • Participate in product development.

Strong ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.

Experience with a variety of hand tools, cutting tools such as saws and routers.

Very good with a measuring tape and other measuring devices.

 

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing up and working on your feet.

Must be able to lift up to 50+ pounds at times.
