Boiler Technician

Evident Process Heat and Power is a currently hiring a full time Boiler Technician.

This position is responsible for the troubleshooting, repairing and the maintenance of commercial/low pressure and high-pressure boilers and all related boiler equipment.

Job Responsibility

• Have knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Monitor boiler operations and maintain required logs.
• Strong ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot.
• Ability to travel to various job sites.
• Detailed oriented.
• Able to work in team environment.
• Respond effectively to all emergencies.
• Having  a working knowledge of steam and hot water boilers, burners (gas, oil  & combination), associated controls & electrical circuits, combustion, and associated piping systems is a PLUS.
• Familiar with instrumentation and controls is a PLUS.
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Mechanical Knowledge: 1 year

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Siemens applications
• Troubleshooting: 1 year (Preferred)

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of  conditions to include confined spaces damp and/or dusty locations,  freezing conditions and hot conditions.
