Position Overview:

The Regional Bank President is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and performance of banking operations within the Alva, Attica, and Cherokee markets. This role ensures the delivery of superior customer service, strong community engagement, and achievement of financial goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial banking, team leadership, and community involvement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and support branch leadership and staff in the  Alva, Attica, and Cherokee regions
  • Drive strategic growth in deposits, loans, and fee-based income
  • Foster a strong culture of customer service, operational excellence, and compliance
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, civic leaders, and key stakeholders
  • Serve as a community ambassador representing the bank at local events, boards, and initiatives
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align market goals with overall bank objectives
  • Mentor and develop talent within the region to promote performance and retention
Requirements:


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Progressive leadership experience in commercial or community banking
  • Strong understanding of lending, credit analysis, and financial services
  • Demonstrated success in market development, business banking, and team management
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Deep knowledge of the Alva, Attica, and Cherokee markets and a passion for community involvement
