About the role

Video is central to Rippling’s next chapter. As we scale our in-house creative capabilities, we’re looking for a Content Producer for Social Video who is passionate about developing content for social channels. This role will report to our Director of Brand Design & Video and partner deeply with our Social and Content teams, creative producers, and other creatives on the Brand Studio team to elevate our social content to new standards.


We’re looking for someone who brings a keen sensibility to producing videos for social: a sense of humor, comedic timing, fast pace, eye-catching visuals, knows how to hook viewers in the first 6 seconds, and is excited to experiment. Our ideal candidate is able to ideate on-brand concepts with stakeholders, be behind the camera helping to capture quick and scrappy content, and produce the final edit.


What you will do

  • Be the go-to person Brand Studio partner for social content. This includes content plays, skits, interviews, events, and more.
  • Be hands-on behind the camera, helping the social and content teams produce stories quickly and efficiently.
  • Partner with social and content to develop on-brand and engaging concepts.
  • Help solidify our brand’s social tone of voice through your creative choices—develop a perspective and style that establishes and differentiates Rippling within the industry.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of video, brand, and campaign creatives to bring our visual stories to life.
  • Function as a post-production Swiss Army Knife, bringing your skillset of editing, sound design, color correction, and delivery/file management.


What you will need

  • 5+ years of experience producing video content for social channels.
  • Experience working in the tech/SaaS field.
  • Deep understanding of the video pipeline.
  • Ability to self-guide and project manage with minimal direction.
  • Experience with pre-production workstreams including writing and storyboarding.
  • On-set experience with cameras, lighting, and blocking.
  • Good communication skills and ability to embrace feedback and pivot accordingly.
  • Proficiency in Adobe CS (primarily Premiere and After Effects), Figma, JIRA, Google Workspace, and Slack.

Over the past year we’ve made investments to build out our different sub-functions: Brand Design, Campaigns, Web Design, and, most recently, Video.
