As an HR Generalist / Recruiter, you will support the following areas:

  

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for non-executive roles, including postings, screening, interviews, references, and offers.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define needs and maintain job descriptions.
  • Manage candidate communications and track hiring activity.
  • Oversee onboarding from offer acceptance through the first day, including background checks, I-9/E-Verify, system access, orientation, and benefits enrollment.
  • Monitor work authorization documentation and ensure compliance.

  

HR Generalist & Operations

  • Administer and coordinate benefits, including open enrollment, employee changes, terminations, and vendor coordination.
  • Process employee lifecycle changes in Paylocity - HRIS/payroll systems.
  • Maintain compliant personnel records and monitor document expirations.
  • Participate in maintaining compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations 
  • Prepare HR reports (metrics, rosters, PTO, year-end reporting).
  • Support payroll-related inquiries and serve as an HR resource to staff and leadership.
  • Coordinate training programs and track required certifications.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and company events.
  • Manage offboarding, including exit interviews, final pay coordination, and system access removal.
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity and ensure confidentiality of employee information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

 Qualifications

  • 3+ years of HR experience with emphasis on recruitment and onboarding.
  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (Paylocity preferred) and benefits administration.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • SHRM or PHR certification is a plus.
  • A working understanding of Spanish is a plus.

 

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands

  • This is largely a sedentary role and requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

  • Day shift – 6:00 to 2:30 pm
