Talantage, LLC is seeking, on behalf of our client, an Associate Attorney with 2–4 years of meaningful experience in M&A, securities, and general business transactions to join the firm's dedicated and dynamic Financial Services group. Responsibilities
- Represent clients in mergers and acquisitions from initial structuring through closing.
- Advise public companies on disclosure and compliance matters.
- Assist in securities offerings and related corporate governance matters.
- Provide counsel to clients on general business and regulatory issues, including those impacting the financial services sector.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements and corporate documents.
- Collaborate with partners and colleagues across practice areas to deliver high-quality service.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
- Must be licensed to practice in Texas (required).
- 2–4 years of experience in M&A, securities, and general business transactions.
- Experience with banking and financial services clients is desirable but not required.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment.
