Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team at a full-service restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards

- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations

- Assist in inventory management and food storage

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines


Skills:

- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications Required:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Excellent physical coordination and manual dexterity. Attention to detail.

Excellent verbal communication.

Courteous and Guest First attitude. Team player.

High energy level; stamina; handles pressure well.

Dependable and reliable. Flexible schedule, when necessary.

Personal cleanliness.

Able to read and write in English. Able to read recipes and other instructions.


Physical Requirements:

Able to lift 25 pounds. Good sense of balance.

Able to climb ladders and stairs, reach, kneel and bend.

Stamina; able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for several hours at a time.



Salary Information

$18.00 - $23.00 Hourly Wage
