Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support with the day-to-day administrative functions of the branch by creating and maintaining records, compiling reports, gather and process data, schedule, coordinate, and office functions correlating to the established procedures and policies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinates office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
- Manages agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for upper management
- Manages phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
- Assists with account collections, vendor set up, and coding invoices
- Creates and updates records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
- Tracks stock of office supplies and places orders when necessary
- Submits timely reports and prepares presentations/proposals as assigned
- Assists colleagues whenever necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software (ERP etc.)
Education and/or Experience
- A minimum of 3+ years of proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
- High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant field is preferred
- High Volume environment
- Experience with Microsoft software such as Word, and Excel
