About this position

As a Front of House Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of service, quality, and guest satisfaction that our restaurant is known for. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for hospitality, and works well in collaboration with the management team to ensure operational success. You'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the front of house, ensuring smooth service, and leading the team to provide an outstanding guest experience.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, inspire, and mentor front of house staff to deliver exceptional service

• Collaborate with kitchen and bar management teams to ensure smooth service flow

• Manage daily operations and guest interactions, including seating, reservations, and guest inquiries

• Ensure quality control for both service and food presentation

• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and patio areas

• Maintain a positive and professional work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration

• Uphold and enforce the highest standards of hospitality, ensuring every guest has a memorable experience

• Help manage local relationships and develop a strong connection with the community

• Assist in maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies when necessary

• Oversee the training and development of new staff members

• Assist in maintaining Aloha POS system and performing administrative tasks such as schedules, payroll, and inventory tracking (experience in Aloha and Word preferred)


Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Front of House Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry

• Passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Familiarity with Aloha POS system and Microsoft Word is preferred

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in service, food, and ambiance

• Local knowledge of the area and a desire to build lasting community relationships
