Pay & Miles
Pay $73,000 to $82,000 yearly
Average Miles: 1,175 per week
Average Pay: About $1,300 per week during the first 3–6 months
Safety Bonus: Up to $1,000 per year
Schedule
Days: Tuesday – Saturday
Start Time: 4:00 PM
Hours: About 50 hours per week (5 days, ~10 hours/day)
Extra days may be available for drivers who want additional work.
Freight Details
Intermodal containers on chassis (100% container freight)
50% drop & hook / 50% live loads
About 5% refrigerated freight
Some loads may contain alcohol or pork
Equipment
Day cabs (average fleet age: 2.5 years)
Mostly automatic Freightliners with safety technology
Slip seating may be required
Trucks must remain smoke-free
