OverviewVertisis Custom Pharmacy is seeking a Quality Control Pharmacy Technician to join our team in North Scottsdale, AZ. This is a non-retail compounding pharmacy role offering consistent weekday hours, a collaborative environment, and the opportunity to grow into the specialized field of sterile pharmacy compounding.

ResponsibilitiesCollect medication samples and prepare submissions to third-party laboratories

Enter, manage, and maintain quality control data in computer systems

Package and prepare samples for laboratory testing

Create and maintain digital and physical documentation for medications

Input lab results, clear medications, and process batch paperwork and logs

Rotate inventory using FIFO (first-in, first-out) procedures

Communicate with multiple departments regarding medication status, timelines, and needs

Support workflow efficiency through cross-functional collaboration

Complete order entry and refills under pharmacist supervision

Manage inventory, storage, labeling, log sheets, and reports

QualificationsRequired:

Active Pharmacy Technician Trainee License

Must be able to perform basic computer functions

Must have knowledge of Microsoft applications (teams, excel, word)

Must have the ability to work closely and effectively with others in a team oriented environment

Must possess problem solving, organizational, and time management skills

Must be able to lift over 50 lbs

Preferred:

PTCB Certification

Experience with Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word

Previous experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or quality control environments
