Camp Counselor

CAMP SCHEDULE AND HOURS: Camp will run daily from Monday, June 22 through Friday, August 14, 2026.

Lower Camp Counselors are for children entering Grades 1-3

Camp hours are 8:00 AM until 3:30 PM (Monday-Thursday) and 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM on Fridays.

Camp counselors may be required to arrive half an hour early.

No camp counselor may take off for more than a week plus three additional days throughout the summer

The Camp Counselors will be responsible to the safety and well being of children in the recreation summer camp. Camp counselors will be assigned to a group, either as a main counselor or a TryCAN inclusion counselor for children with special needs. The main group ration will not surpass 1:10. Daily schedules of activities will be given and must be executed with the children. Camp is held both at the Summit Community Center and Summit Family Aquatic Center.
