About this position

Job Purpose 

Responsible of fulfilling outbound customer sales orders by committed ship dates. Manages finished  goods inventory that is on hand, outbound and inbound. In addition performs any technical functions  required to configure customer’s products for outbound shipping. 

Essential Functions 

• Point of contact for Customer’s site group for Customer’s needs; 

• Maintain timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to  assure accurate record retention; 

• Use pallet jack and / or forklift to safely load and unload freight from incoming/outbound  trucks (company owned or 3rd party vendors / partners); 

• Complete accurate physical piece / pallet count verification and perform required quality  checks; 

• Efficiently sort and stage material for shipment, according to customer requirements and/or  SOP; 

• Perform pallet build, shrink-wrapping, material scanning, and documentation according to  specifications or SOP; 

• Inspect shipments for damages or defects; record discrepancies or damages, and notify  appropriate management personnel; 

• Perform data entry to record shipping and receiving transactions, create shipping  documents, and update shipment status; 

• Ensure proper labeling of inventory; 

• Secure trailers for shipment by locking and/or applying truck seals according to process; 

• Monitor and maintain email communications, send timely pre-alerts to internal and external  partners, notify management of any issues or escalations; 

• Adhere to all company and customer policies, procedures, quality, safety, and security  requirements, and reporting policies; 

• Perform any tasks not mentioned above that is pertinent to the position and is part of the  customer requirements for the SOP. 

Secondary Functions 

• Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications 

• High school diploma or GED; 

• 1 – 2 years warehouse experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; 

• Order management and transportation modules experience;

• Experience operating warehouse machinery (pallet jack, forklift, shrink wrapper, etc.); 

• Ability to receive, track, and inspect materials; 

• Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers; 

• Ability to accurately prepare routine administrative paperwork; 

• Available to work flexible hours, regular overtime, and weekends when necessary; 

• Customer service oriented; 

• Must have intermediate computer usage skills; Microsoft Excel, Word and e-mail use  required; 

• Must have ability to stand, sit, bend, twist, kneel, lift, climb, and/or reach for extended  periods of time; 

• Must have ability to work in a fast-paced operations environment;  

• Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds; beyond 75 pounds with the proper equipment and/or  assistance of others. 



Salary Information

$22.0 - $24.0 Hourly Wage
