Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Airport Hub Porter to join our team supporting Fletcher Jones’ Airport and Shuttle Services in Newport Beach. In this role, you will ensure that each guest receives a warm welcome, timely shuttle assistance, and that their vehicles are handled with the utmost care and attention.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Guest Reception: Greet all guests promptly and courteously as they arrive at the airport hub or shuttle station, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.

  • Vehicle Walk-Around: Conduct detailed inspections of vehicles, noting any visible damage or service needs.

  • System Entry: Enter guest and vehicle information into our service system, including any required or complimentary services.

  • Vehicle Parking & Retrieval: Safely park and retrieve vehicles in designated areas, maintaining organization and attention to quality control.

  • Key Coordination: Manage the transfer of vehicle keys to shuttle drivers or guests as needed.

  • Phone Support: Answer phone calls using proper etiquette and provide helpful, accurate information to callers.

  • Lot Maintenance: Keep the shuttle and airport hub areas organized, directing drivers as necessary to optimize space and traffic flow.

  • Guest Care: Create a seamless, comfortable, and memorable experience for each guest through attentive service and helpful communication.

  • Team Support: Assist with additional operational duties and contribute to the success of the service team as needed.

Requirements

Driving Assignments Only

  • Valid California driver’s license and acceptable driving record

  • Ability to safely operate automatic vehicles (manual transmission preferred but not required)

  • Driving responsibilities are assigned based on role level and operational needs

General Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

  • Professional demeanor when interacting with customers and dealership staff

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions related to vehicle movement and preparation
