Job Description

We’re looking for Front Office Resource/Leads who are excited to support clinic operations and guide front office teams toward excellence. In this role, you’ll help ensure smooth daily operations across Ridgecrest Regional Health Clinic locations, including the hospital campus, Trona, and future sites.

You’ll provide leadership and direction to front office staff, oversee scheduling and patient registration processes, monitor billing and charge entry functions, and support policy and procedure compliance. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day oversight and direction to RHC front office staff

  • Ensure patient scheduling, registration, cashiering, coding, and billing functions are completed accurately and efficiently

  • Monitor document imaging, medical record completion, charge entry, payment posting, and batch balancing

  • Assist with staff selection, training, orientation, and remediation

  • Oversee staff scheduling and attendance monitoring

  • Maintain compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and Ridgecrest RHC standards

  • Promote excellent customer service and positive patient flow

Collaborative Teamwork

This role involves working closely with the Clinic Director and front office teams to ensure efficient operations and a positive patient experience. The Front Office Resource/Lead fosters a supportive, team-oriented environment while helping staff achieve optimal performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in patient access, third-party payer processes, CPT and ICD-10 coding

  • Knowledge of registration, scheduling, cashiering, and coding functions

  • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance plans, and office cash payment policies and procedures

  • Experience with eMDs and McKesson Paragon required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to read, write, and understand simple to complex correspondence

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, staff, and the public

  • Understanding of teamwork principles and ability to accomplish tasks through collaboration

  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language

  • Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, coworkers, and community
