Duties:

Proposal Management 

  • Manage and oversee the proposal development process, ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals that align with client requirements and company procedures. 
  • Business Winning- Plan, forecast and report on business win review meetings and opportunities.  
  • Analyze Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs), and other client inquiries to determine response strategy, priorities, and resource requirements. 
  • Organize and direct proposal teams comprised of team members from multiple departments to ensure timely and competitive responses to RFQs.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, technical teams, finance, program management office and subject matter experts to gather the necessary information to craft compelling proposals. 
  • Support finance and technical teams in the creation of cost and technical volumes.
  • Lead the proposal review process, organizing review meetings and ensuring that feedback is incorporated effectively. 
  • Monitor and report on proposal outcomes, providing insights and recommendations to improve win rates and client satisfaction. 
  • Organize and maintain a repository of all proposal and related documents.

 

Sales Management

  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics.
  • Develop and report monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts supported by current order book and new orders forecast fed by CRM.
  • Standard Product / Price List – Utilize input from multiple team members and data sources to establish and maintain the standard product list, including development, approval and maintenance of a standard price list. Coordinate closely with the marketing team to develop supporting marketing collateral. 

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 
  • Master’s degree in Business a plus.
  • 3 years of experience in proposal management and inside sales.
  • Proven track record of managing and writing winning proposals and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and dynamics. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Requires willingness and ability to acquire expertise with Hubspot CRM such as pipeline management, automation and reporting tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to oversee and manage the proposal development process from start to finish. 
  • Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including sales, marketing, technical teams, and finance. 
  • Ability to conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail. 
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with clients. 
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate deadlines. 
  • Experience in training and mentoring sales and proposal teams. 
  • Knowledge of the industry and market trends is a plus. 
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and presentations.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and materials.
  • Certification in proposal management from an industry-recognized organization (e.g., APMP) is a plus.
