Job Summary: The Accounting Intern will work with the rest of the Accounting team on a combination of recurring responsibilities and projects.  This accounting internship will offer the ideal candidate experience in business and financial analytics, the practical application of accounting principles, and ability to partner with other functional areas to achieve positive business results.

 Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze and provide insights into monthly financial results
  • Support other department personnel with accounts receivable and accounts payable responsibilities
  • Help drive improvements in financial reporting through chart of account changes
  • Key team member for developing and implementing financial forecasting and planning processes

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Applied understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Ability to work in teams and independently
  • Eager and willing to take initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking and monitoring deadlines

 Education and Experience:

  • College student currently pursuing an accounting or finance degree
  • Successful completion of introductory courses in accounting, finance, or business
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Work, Excel, PowerPoint)

Salary Information

$19.0 - $23.0 Hourly Wage
