Position Summary:

The Server Assistant/ Busser is essential to ensuring a seamless dining experience for our members and guests in our indoor and outdoor environments. This role will assist with maintaining cleanliness, delivering food and beverages, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Reports to: Food & Beverage Director and Food & Beverage Services/Sports Center Manager

Supervises: None

Key Responsibilities:

Main Clubhouse

  • Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors, tables, and service stations.
  • Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to tables.
  • Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Support catering events by setting up and breaking down dining areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guest needs and requests.


Sports Center

  • Regularly clear and reset tables by the pool, ensuring the area remains tidy and ready for new guests.
  • Deliver food and beverages to poolside tables, ensuring accuracy and prompt service.
  • Work closely with servers to maintain the flow of service by clearing dishes, glasses, and trash.
  • Support special events and poolside catering by setting up and breaking down dining areas for events, parties, or large gatherings.
  • Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation protocols, especially in the pool environment, to maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.
  • Be responsive and attentive to poolside guests' needs, providing a professional yet relaxed service experience.


Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
  • ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team environment.
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, depending on the location.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
  • Navigate through crowded areas safely, including stairs and uneven surfaces.
