Job Description
Responsibilities
The Compliance Analyst works within the Compliance and Audit department in the areas of incident resolution and prevention, audit, risk assessment, regulatory research and work plan projects. This role is responsible for management of assigned internal compliance investigations and assessments, including but not limited to high-risk activities such as billing and coding, reimbursement and quality concerns; recommends and oversees corrective action plans and education. The Compliance Analyst assists with the review and resolution of regulatory matters; is a critical-thinker, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and performs independent research, factual analysis of compliance matters and creates proposed solutions to root causes.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor Degree
Desired:
- Three years compliance programs, regulatory research, auditing, medical records investigations or policy/procedure development experience
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
