Position: Quality Analyst / WMS

Primary Objective of Position:
This position will be responsible for supporting the WMS Manufacturing program; analyzing end-to-end processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, variation, rework, and implement data-driven improvements. Drives continuous improvement by applying Quality and Lean Manufacturing tools. Monitors, analyzes, and reports KPI performance, including efficiency, rework, and lead time in manufacturing.
Major Areas of Accountability:
- Assess and evaluate workplace organization to identify areas for improvement, to ensure plant-wide alignment with 5S standards and implementation of visual management and standard work.
- Provide administrative, training and project support for Kaizen, Cost Deployment and WMS pillars programs.
- Analyze end-to-end processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, variation, and rework, and implement data-driven improvements.
- Lead and support projects to improve continuous flow and materials management.
- Encourages a mindset of daily improvement; encourages everyone to identify waste and suggest solutions.
- Gathers and analyzes data to measure the efficiency of new automated processes; ensure technology is delivering the expected return in time and quality.
- Analyzes data, reports findings to Team; recommends process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Promote and sustain a continuous improvement culture through training, coaching, and engagement of operations and support teams.
- Collaborates with other departments to solve any issues by applying Lean CI tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to meet business needs.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree (Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering), equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Knowledge and experience with Quality Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, and Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC, PDCA, Kaizen).
- Ability to analyze and improve processes using data, digital tools, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Internet, e-Mail and SAP.
- Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills including active listening is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and shift work activities in order to meet business needs and goals.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, manipulate, and interpret data.
- Demonstrated ability to propose, plan, and implement creative solutions.
- Advanced problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Proven ability to lead projects by example.
- Emotional intelligence to handle resistance.
- Self-starting, results-oriented, flexible, and team player.
Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed in both an office and manufacturing environment. Requires the ability to routinely move throughout the office and manufacturing facility to perform work.
- Requires the ability to routinely lift up to 25 pounds.
- Requires the ability to ascend and descend stairs daily to reach all areas in the manufacturing facility.
