About the Role:

You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the front-end and back-end components of TeleCare, as well as ensuring its performance, security, and scalability. You will work closely with other developers, product managers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and users.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks for web and cloud-based applications.
  • Define and implement test strategies for functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
  • Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting for front-end (React/TypeScript), back-end (.NET Core, C#), and cloud components (Azure Functions, serverless architecture, SQL Server, Cosmos DB).
  • Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product managers to embed quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure high coverage and reliability for unit, API, UI, and end-to-end automated tests.
  • Perform hands-on manual and exploratory testing for critical features and high-risk areas.
  • Drive defect prevention by working closely with developers during design and code review.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA and engineering team members on testing best practices and automation techniques.
  • Monitor and report on quality metrics, test coverage, and release readiness.
  • Stay current with emerging QA tools, frameworks, and cloud-based testing solutions, particularly within the Azure ecosystem.
  • Participate in post release validation and assist in troubleshooting production issues.
  • Research and recommend new QA tools, frameworks, and best practices that improve efficiency and coverage.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in QA engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead-level role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing principles (manual and automated), quality metrics, and defect tracking.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation using tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests into build and release processes.
  • Experience testing cloud-native and serverless applications (preferably on Azure).
  • Proficiency with API testing (REST, GraphQL, WebSockets) and tools like Postman or similar.
  • Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills in complex distributed systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence without direct management responsibility.
  • Passion for driving quality through automation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in healthcare technology, HIPAA compliance, or other regulated environments is a strong plus.
