Job Summary 

The Account Manager - Manufacturing is responsible for identifying and evaluating customer PO and managing the efficient supply chains of product supply not only in house manufacturing but also sub-contract manufacturing. 


Job Responsibilities 

  • Effective written & oral communication skills with established interpersonal skills.
  • Understand the manufacturing process in the mechanical parts.
  • Receive the customer PO and manage the supply chain with the related suppliers.
  • Contact customers for discussing the product lead time and quality control issue.
  • Prepare the product quote for the new RFQ from the customer.
  • Manage the rework project (RMA) interconnecting the customer and vendor.
  • Update the open order schedules for tracking the customer open orders. 
  • Meet the customer periodically in order to make better relationship. 
  • Be the front-line problem solver to the customer product complains.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders in different teams in engineering, sales, accounting. 
  • The basic knowledge about the product drawings in CAD.
  • Strong time management skills and deadline oriented. 
  • The common sense in the mathematics and statistics.
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks, changing priorities. 
  • Experience in analyzing data and providing recommendations in customer sales data. 
  • Interface with the customer to understand customer's overall needs, objectives, and requirements to identify solutions and business opportunities. 
  • Maintain outstanding sales orders, update them with the delivery date and customer requirements. 
  • Follow up the technical/engineering issues with engineering team for drawing changes, defect issues, RMA follow up. 
  • Corporate with inventory team for keeping up hands on inventories, and inventory receipts. 
  • Forecast the product demand per customer for quarterly and yearly. 


Job Skills & Qualifications 

Required 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 3 years’ experience in the account management

Preferred 

  • Local applicant in Dallas Texas (the office is in Irving)
  • Work experience in the manufacturing company
