Description:

As a CAM Application Engineer, you will provide technical sales presentations, customer support, post-processor development, customer training and mentoring, and marketing content creation. Utilize your knowledge of CNC programming and machining experience to support and develop the CAM initiatives of GoEngineer's customers. You will provide multifaceted CAM solutions that work within both the SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE platforms. Integration in these platforms means that you will develop and maintain a broad set of skills that include Design, Manufacturing and Governance.


CAM solutions at GoEngineer include CAMWorks, SOLIDWORKS CAM and DELMIA CAM


Your key contributions in this role will include:

Technical Sales Support

• Demonstrate Software capabilities to prospects and customers in front of a live

audience and/or via web meetings

• Support Sales Team with product knowledge, demonstrations, solution strategy and

correspondence

• Create marketing content (i.e. videos, blogs, webinars) showing software features,

capabilities, and trends.

• Obtain and maintain industry certifications (e.g. CSWP, VAR certifications)

• Visit Customers at their facility to understand their design and manufacturing

processes


Technical post-sales Support

• Provide technical support (i.e. Troubleshoot and provide resolution to customer issues)

via phone and email

• Document customer issues and follow up until a resolution is determined

• Conduct technical training onsite, online, or in a classroom setting

• Create and modify CAM post processors

Requirements:
  • 5 to 7 years' experience in CNC programming, 2.5 Axis or 3 Axis with an understanding of multi-axis and mill-turn
  • Associates or Bachelors in a manufacturing or engineering field (preferred, but not required)
  • Knowledge of CNC machining, g-code, and CAD/CAM software required:

CAMWorks or similar CAM system experience preferred

SOLIDWORKS experience preferred

Knowledge of wire EDM a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills; Self-starter
  • Knowledge and experience in Engineering and Product Development processes and environments.
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills. Able to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to mentor other team members.
  • Working knowledge of Windows environment and Microsoft Office products.
  • Willingness to travel


Competitive Compensation Includes:

This is a full-time position, with the ability to work fully remote anywhere in the continental USA. You must be able to work Monday - Friday, standard business hours. Compensation is based on skills and experience, starting range is $65,000 - 85,000 annual salary, plus bonuses and benefits.
