Job Title: Career Transition Readiness Specialist
Location: Sacramento Job Corps. 3100 Meadowview Rd. Sacramento, CA
Job Type: Full-time position, Hours- Monday -Friday 8am. to 5pm.
Salary- $21.00-24.00 hourly
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career Transition Readiness Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and support to our students during their career transitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual assessments to determine career goals, interests, and skills
- Develop individualized career plans that align with the client's goals and aspirations
- Provide guidance and support to clients during their job search process
- Assist clients with resume writing, interviewing skills, and job search strategies
- Collaborate with employers to identify job opportunities for clients
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress
- Case noting
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Career Counseling, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in career counseling, coaching, or related fields
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of job market trends and industries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and career assessment tools

Requirements:Qualifications:
Minimum: Bachelor's degree or four years' experience working with youth. One year's experience in sales, marketing or counseling related field.
Preferred: Minimum plus Job Corps experience
Knowledge: Sound knowledge of case management, career counseling, employment counseling and job search, job preparation and development techniques. Must be able to effectively communicate with culturally disadvantaged and minority youth. Must possess a valid state driver's license. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Must obtain and maintain valid CPR/FA certification. Good organizational skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
