Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning in a high-volume oral surgery setting
- Hire, train, and develop staff to create a cohesive team aligned with practice goals
- Manage staffing needs, scheduling, and payroll, ensuring optimal patient flow and doctor time
- Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, staff, and patients to foster a collaborative and high-performance environment
- Develop and implement protocols and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and patient care
- Analyze financial reports, including P&L statements, and work towards achieving practice financial goals
- Supervise front and back-office staff, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with policies
- Act as a liaison between staff and management to ensure smooth communication and policy adherence
- Coordinate marketing efforts and community outreach to promote the practice
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and oversee patient record-keeping systems
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience managing a dental office
- Experience in an outpatient surgery or oral surgery setting
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and develop teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong A-type personality, capable of working with surgeons and other high-level professionals
- Experience with operational management, including budgeting, staffing, and protocol development
- Bachelor's degree preferred
