EDUCATION | Associates or bachelor's degree

EXPERIENCE | 2+ years of electrical design experience in the architectural / built environment

POSITION SUMMARY

Electrical Designer with active power and lighting design project experience in the retail, commercial, government and or education markets. The selected candidate will provide electrical design expertise while working with the project team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Design and develop drawings for building's lighting, power and electrical distribution systems
• Perform power engineering calculations
• Design to applicable standards and codes
• Coordination with other disciplines
• Effectively build and maintain relationships with all team members
• Maintain a positive and professional work environment

SKILLS

• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office
• Working knowledge of the NEC and other appropriate codes and standards
• Ability to identify and correctly respond to project needs
• Adhere to project schedules, budgets and scope of work
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Effectively work with all team members
