Weaver Popcorn is looking for an organized and enthusiastic Human Resource Assistant to join our Human Resources team.

As an HR Assistant at Weaver, you will support the People Department by performing various administrative tasks to ensure efficient and effective HR operations. This role involves assisting with recruitment, maintaining employee records, providing clerical support, and helping with payroll and benefits administration.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate screenings.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes
  • Prepare and maintain onboarding materials and documentation

Employee Records Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of employee information
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports and data analysis as needed

Payroll and Benefits Administration:

  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and address related inquiries
  • Back up to payroll

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating employee engagement activities and events
  • Support HRBP in addressing employee relations issues and conducting investigations

Requirements:

Required

  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred

  • Experience in an HR Administration role or similar HR position.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems.
  • General understanding of HR policies, practices, and employment laws.
  • Familiarity with recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Knowledge of performance management principles and practices.
  • Understanding of employee benefits administration and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in HR data management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Salary Information

$44512.00 - $52395.00 Annual Salary
