The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. Responsible for the day-to-day management of personnel, communications, policy administration, onboarding new staff, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Requirements:- Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in administering compensation, benefit and employee performance plans.
- Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Works with operations to resolve employee relations issues.
- Investigates, counsels, and assists in resolving disputes, and disciplinary matters.
- Manage inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Supports the development and administration of programs, policies, and processes to facilitate employee and organizational development.
- May assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Ensure legal compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience & Education
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist for a minimum of 4 years.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- PHR or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk.
- Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking.
- Some lifting (up to 30 lbs.). Long hours on computer keyboard.
