About this position
Description:
The fundamental purpose of this position is to work as a team member to establish and manage customer accounts and maintain long-term business relationships primarily in the Industrial sector. Providing exceptional customer services, coordinating all aspects of support for the customer, and being a solution provider for their business will be the core responsibilities. You will be responsible for the development of the sales and customer base of all products and services offered to these accounts to drive growth for the Industrial segment and optimize profitability. Sales experience and knowledge of Industrial lubricants, reliability services, and equipment is preferred.
Compensation
Salary + additional commission/bonus-based compensation. Other – vehicle allowance, fuel card, cell phone, computer, safety equipment, etc
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties requested by management.
· Meet or exceed sales and profit goals established in consultation with Sales Management
· Develop highly professional sales relationships with assigned Industrial accounts
· Develop and manage customer relationships for assigned regions to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, retain existing revenue and attain additional business
· Learn/Operate CRM system to effectively track and develop customer contacts and opportunities
· Maintain and update customer pricing and provide product and service quotes as needed
· Work collectively with vendor partners to maximize profitability and products offered to the market
· Promote company capabilities and programs to the customers
· Work closely with Industrial Services and Technical team to optimize the share of wallet opportunities within the current and future customer base
· Coordinate order activity and customer service needs with internal teams
· Abide by all company policies, rules, and regulations including all applicable safety rules and procedures
· Professionally represent the company at all times ensuring quality
· Continually enhance sales and product knowledge skills to maintain a professional image
· Professionally represent the company at trade shows and Industry groups
· Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company
Requirements:
Qualifications
· Prefer 5-10 years plus of applicable Industrial Experience
· In depth Lubricant knowledge preferred (certifications a plus)
· Application and equipment knowledge for Industrial applications
· Exceptional customer service skills and ability to manage large customers with multiple contacts and service requirements
· Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
· Effective training and negotiating abilities and able to deal constructively with conflicts
· Proven ability to translate business needs into growth
· Basic email and PC functions (Excel, Work, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams, etc)
· Knowledge of common business practices relating to the purchase, pricing, terms, shipment, taxes, and payment for products and services
· Ability to learn and retain product and application information to provide solutions and correct product recommendations to the customer
· Self-motivated and results-oriented, competitive with strong organizational and interpersonal skills and a proven successful sales record
· Ability to analyze issues and develop solutions
· Leadership skills, ability to help train and mentor other associates

Travel: REQUIRED – Travel within the sales area-other travel may be required as needed
