We're FUTUREBEAN. We are excited to open our first location in Tennessee. We are a premium coffee company innovating the next generation coffee shops. Our team produces artisan-roasted coffee, house-made baked goods and bakes fresh all day. Our focus is creating memorable guest experiences through friendly, welcoming service. We're on the lookout for a manager who is just as passionate about hospitality as we are. The ideal candidate will have experience developing a team dedicated to service and operational excellence, as well as coffee and/or food leadership.

? Salary range of $53,000 – $55,000 + Sales Performance Bonus (up to $1,250 yearly)

A day in the life of a FUTUREBEAN Manager

As the manager, you'll . . .

? Apply your past retail leadership experience to set an inspirational tone for staff and guests by modeling a welcoming approach to guest service, as well as excellence in coffee and food leadership

? Develop multi-dimensional leaders through meaningful training and coaching conversations informed by observed performance across each team member's responsibilities

? Understand market-specific barriers to growth, mobilize resources to solve problems & drive priorities

? Ensure management & staff are focused on effectively achieving top priorities

? Leverage business and planning expertise to ensure the successful execution of operations plan

? Train and Maintain Brand Standards. Always.

Requirements:

Must have experience

? Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

? Experienced manager or multi-unit leader with unique portfolio experience (i.e., high volume DTs, efficient square foot cafe“ with high merchandise sales, concept store(s), kiosks, etc.)

? Ability to create and execute strategic initiatives at a rapid pace in an evolving and highly visible business environment

? Ability to lead and develop your team with a proven track record of coaching high-performing teams

? Ability to be flexible, navigate ambiguity, and adapt knowledge and experience to the needs of the business, team and guests

? Deep understanding of and demonstrated commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience

? Forward-thinking with strong decision-making capability and strength in problem-solving using a combination of established methods and external processes

? Ability to uphold daily, weekly and monthly responsibilities of shop operations, such as scheduling, staff projections, and interdepartmental communications

Nice-to-have experience

? 2+ years of retail experience managing 2 or more stores, departments or units, P&L, inventory, operations, and customer service

? 2+ years of management experience leading a team of 10 or more, including training and coaching, with strong leadership and communication skills

? 2+ years of experience in a customer-service-oriented role

? Experience in a multi-unit environment, knowledge of retail or restaurant industry operations, and financial reporting


Here are the physical things you'll have to be able to do:

? Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time or the entire shift

? Walk up to 5 miles per day

? Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds

? Operate and use all equipment necessary

? Process information/merchandise through POS system

? Handle food and hot beverages

? Ability to freely access all areas of the shop
