About this position
As a Forklift Operator at IGAM, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating forklifts—ranging up to 30,000 lbs.—and handling equipment to load, unload, relocate, and position heavy machinery and materials. You will collaborate closely with our operations team to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and in accordance with our high safety and quality standards. Versa lift and general rigging experience are valuable assets in this role.

• Prolonged periods of sitting on a forklift or other industrial vehicle.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds at times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Unloading Equipment from a variety of trucks
• Receiving equipment in via Photos and Paperwork
• Weighing Equipment
• Loading Equipment on a variety of trucks
• Filling garbage and scrap containers via forklift
• General safety inspection of forklift
• Performing other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma preferred
• A minimum of 3years related experience
• Thorough knowledge of Forklift Safety

• Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point is essential
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
