Responsibilities

•Under the general supervision of the IT Director/Manager, provides technical

assistance in the use of administrative computing systems including MS/Multon,

Windows Server Systems, IT infrastructures, as well as various reports

•This individual will learn knowledge of manufacturing systems while also providing

technical assistance as described

•Assist project teams in providing systems analysis and coordination in support of major

system implementation

•Provide Desktop and Hardware Support for laptops, printers etc provide

recommendations for hardware (IT/Manufacturing) and software as requested

•Provide recommendations for hardware (IT/Manufacturing) and software as requested.

This will be achieved by gathering end-user requirements, analyzing existing systems,

researching vendor specifications, and then reporting and presenting to IT team

members as appropriate for further review

•Provide training & technical supports to end users on use of new/existing systems

•Work collaboratively on Automation/PLC troubleshooting/improvements between

manufacturing related systems and related equipment

· Assist in network design and implementation.

· Provide network support with a variety of operating systems.

· Mixed Linux/Windows environment

· Help desk - help users with phones, laptops, desktops, printers, scanners,

time clocks, video camera.

· Install and configure computers and network equipment.

· Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations.

· Provide network support to users.

· Maintain servers and associated hardware, applications, services, and

settings.

· Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources.

· Implement and manage disaster recovery and back-up.

· Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.

· Monitor network to ensure optimal performance.

· Create and maintain network users/permissions.

· Test release of products to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility.

· Create technical support documentation for systems and applications

· Work in a manufacturing environment

Requirements:

Qualifications

• Related Bachelor Degree; or 3 years related experience and / or training; or

equivalent combination of education and experience - Strong troubleshooting

methodology is required.
