Quality Inspector –  Inspection & Containment

Location: Reading, OH
Job Type: Full-Time- PM Shift
Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Thursday, Friday & Saturday's

 

Are you detail-driven and committed to excellence? We are looking for Quality Inspectors to support pharmaceutical production through precise inspection, sorting, containment, and rework/repair activities. This role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of compliance, quality, and safety in the pharmaceutical supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct visual and tactile inspections and packaging assistance

• Use specialized inspection, measuring, and testing equipment to ensure product compliance

• Perform rework and repair tasks where necessary to bring products into specification

• Accurately complete documentation in accordance with project requirements

• Follow written and verbal standard operating procedures and work instructions

• Escalate quality concerns to supervisors or quality assurance personnel

• Adhere strictly to safety, hygiene, and contamination control protocols in a pharmaceutical environment

Qualifications:

• Experience or training in inspection tasks within a regulated industry (pharma, biotech, medical devices, etc.)

• Familiarity with regulations and quality documentation practices

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a quality-driven team

• Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality is a must.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks including gripping, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods

• Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs., and occasional lifting over 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working in controlled environments that may vary in temperature

• Must be able to pass a near-vision assessment critical to detailed inspection work, drug screen & back ground check.
