SAGE X3 Systems Manager
Purpose of the Role
We're looking for an experienced Sage X3 Systems Manager to lead the optimization, implementation, compliance, scalability and support of our ERP platform across global markets. This role bridges business needs and technical solutions—guiding upgrades, enhancements, and system alignment while partnering closely with teams across finance, supply chain, and manufacturing. The ideal candidate brings strong ERP experience, business process understanding, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with clarity and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet business needs.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the SAGE X3 system across North American business units, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with international teams to standardize and align SAGE X3 configurations, workflows, and processes.
- Lead system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements, managing internal and external resources throughout the project lifecycle. This includes creating testing plans for business users and constructing go/no go criteria.
- Act as the primary point of contact for SAGE X3 support, providing guidance, training, and troubleshooting across departments.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical solutions that meet operational needs across multiple geographies.
- Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT teams to support cross-functional initiatives and reporting needs.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements as it relates to ERP functionality and data integrity.
- Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and training materials for SAGE X3 users and administrators.
- Evaluate and manage vendor relationships, consultants, and third-party applications related to the ERP environment.
- Provide regular updates and system status reports to key stakeholders across regions.
- Maintain and prioritize a system enhancement backlog in alignment with business objectives.
- Define and document clear user stories and business requirements for development and configuration work.
- Coordinate acceptance test planning (ATP) and documentation to support audit readiness.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by gathering feedback and ensuring timely issue resolution.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field; Master's is a plus.
- Current Sage X3 Certifications
- Proven hands on experience configuring Sage X3 platforms, technical troubleshooting and resolution
- 5+ years of hands-on Sage X3 experience, including implementation and system ownership.
- Proven experience leading ERP initiatives across multiple business functions and global regions.
- Strong understanding of finance, supply chain, and manufacturing workflows.
- Solid analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments is preferred.
- International travel may be required (up to 10–15%).

- Sage X3 system remains stable and performs consistently with minimal downtime.
- ERP projects, upgrades, and enhancements are delivered on time and meet business needs.
- Users receive timely support and helpful training, with high satisfaction feedback.
- Business teams (Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) see improved efficiency and system value.
- Documentation and testing meet audit and compliance requirements.
- Continuous improvements are identified and implemented to enhance system performance.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $126,000 – $150,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Work Location & Schedule
This position is based out of our Santa Clara, California headquarters and follows a hybrid work schedule. Employees are expected to work onsite part of the week to collaborate with teams across departments.
