Job Summary:

The Sales Manager is responsible supervising and motivating the salespeople as well as promoting and encouraging strategies to sell RVs while maintaining the highest level of honesty and customer service.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Managing all sales staff at the Sales Managers respective location.
  • Scheduling of sales staff.
  • Train new sales staff on all aspects of their job in the sales department.
  • Uphold and enforce RV Value Mart, Inc. polices.
  • Set goals for sales and finance staff.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that sales staff is providing excellent customer service.
  • Ensure that all customers that need assistance are being assisted.

Duties/Responsibilities:

In addition to supervisory responsibilities the Sales Manager will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Coordinate closings and deliveries with the Service Department.
  • Monitor website and inventory to ensure that all units are pictured and online in a timely manner.
  • Remove sold units from the website after their closing date.
  • Ensure that inventory is organized on the lot and presentable for the best possible customer experience.
  • Price all used inventory.
  • Monitor finance contract status to be sure contracts are being processed by F&I and funded in a timely manner.
  • Ensure inventory is being cleaned inside and outside as needed.
  • Coordinate with the Service Department to ensure that any repairs needed for on-lot inventory are completed.
  • Complete accounting end of day procedures.
  • Ensure building is open and closed at the appropriate business hours.
  • Ensure building security.
  • Assist customers as needed.
  • Ensure customer orientations are being completed.
  • Complete closing paperwork as needed.
  • Submit end of day sales summary to Manager daily.
  • Distribute leads from within the CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) to sales staff immediately at the start of the day and periodically throughout the day.
  • Ensure staff is handling leads.
  • Monitor and insure that sales staff is logged in and handling chat conversations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
