Live-On-Site Manager Opportunity
Are you an experienced residential site manager with a passion for creating safe, well-maintained communities? Join the Housing Authority of Jackson County (HAJC) as a Live-On-Site Manager and make a direct impact on the lives of our residents while living where you work!

What You'll Do:
  • On-Site Management: Ensure our properties meet the highest standards of care and compliance with Housing Authority policies, federal regulations, and state statutes.
  • Resident Support: Guide and mentor residents on occupancy standards, lease regulations, and maintenance practices, helping them succeed in their housing programs.
  • Property Oversight: Show properties to prospective tenants, assist with lease execution, and ensure a smooth move-in process.
  • Routine Inspections: Conduct housing quality inspections, handle minor maintenance tasks, and educate residents on submitting work orders.
  • Tenant Assistance: Address tenant needs proactively and resolve issues, including emergencies, with compassion and professionalism, even outside of regular hours.
  • Documentation & Communication: Maintain accurate records, collect rent payments, and document all lease-related actions promptly. Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and team members to foster a supportive, team-oriented work environment.

What We're Looking For:
  • Prior on-site management experience, ideally in a similar setting.
  • Knowledge of LIHTC and proficiency with relevant software.
