About this position
Summary/Objective:
The Warehouse Receiving Associate performs all pertinent functions that support the day-to-day shipping/receiving of inventory and reconciling of any receiving issues that arise in this process
Essential Functions:
- Maintain inventory accuracy by SOP adherence.
- Vendor damage communication and follow up.
- VRMA management (vendor communication, packing/shipping of the product and maintain internal information)
- Work in conjunction with the Inventory lead on VRMA management
- Department goal: all incoming products received complete daily while maintaining strict accuracy.
- End of day reporting.
- Assist Dispatch and Order pull with pulling back orders that were just received.
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
- Sitting, standing and walking intermittently throughout the day; may stand for long periods.
- May occasionally use office equipment such as computer, mouse, keyboard, printer.
- Frequent exposure to warehouse operations with noise levels that may vary and include large trucks, forklifts, groups of construction workers, etc.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear.
- Use specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50-75 pounds.

Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and excellent driving record.
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment strongly preferred.
- Forklift experience and certification preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language fluently, and communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level.
Expected Hours of Work:
This role is considered full-time working approximately 40 hours per week and is eligible for overtime. This position is expected to work an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday, between the hours of 6:00am and 5:30pm. Occasional Saturday shifts may be required to fulfill inventory obligations. Travel within the geographic region will be required.
