What We're Looking For:
RuffleButts is excited to add a Wholesale Sales Representative to our growing Inside Sales Team! In this role, you'll be instrumental in driving new business opportunities and fostering strong relationships through outbound calls, emails, and online orders. Your efforts will support our company's growth by securing new clients and strengthening existing partnerships. The ideal candidate is results-driven, skilled in sales, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
In Summary, Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Identify and engage potential new business customers
- Research prospective companies and communicate with store owners/buyers to assess their suitability.
- Clearly explain vendor requirements and confirm applicants' understanding before approving their application.
- Follow up with approved customers to guide them through order placement while identifying opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and add-ons.
- May involve showcasing our full product line to existing and prospective customers at local markets where we participate.
- Stay informed on market, customer, and consumer trends that impact business operations.
- Utilize internal tools to deliver exceptional customer service and support, driving repeat business.
- Track department and individual goals to align with company objectives.
- Serve as a liaison between departments to ensure seamless order processing and timely deliveries.
- Manage the sales pipeline and leverage tools to accurately monitor progress and outcomes.
- Assist specialty accounts with setting up online marketplace accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requests are addressed promptly and effectively.
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales and/or phone-based customer service
- Experience in the apparel or accessories industry is strongly preferred.
- Background in account management and business development is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage internal and external relationships.
- Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate, and close deals.
- Comfortable working with multiple computer applications in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and overcome challenges to achieve results.
- Familiarity with CRM software for managing customer interactions and sales pipelines.
